Challenge
The owner wanted to show off the unique architectural features of theis 1920s historic Spanish Revival home.

Solutions
Warm tones of yellow, Benjamin Moore’s Home Sweet Home, and Benjamin Moore’s orange, O55, creamy whites and Benjamin Moore’s OC-66 lighten and brighten every room. I selected these colors to emphasize the unique and beautiful focal points and architectural features of the house such as the fireplace, niches, newly restored barrel ceiling and rounded wood windows and doors. All colors complement the client’s unique antiques and collectables. Lighter shades in the bedroom, including Dunn Edwards’ Organic Fiber for the walls, and ceiling, Dunn Edwards’ blue green, Palladian Blue create a feminine feel. A darker shade of green Benjamin Moore’s Cedar Grove cozies up the den. Exterior colors in shades similar to those used on the inside create a unified look.
