Challenge
A local real estate agent needed help bringing out the best features of a 1930s home he was about to list. On this project, I used my skills as a home stager and color consultant.

Solutions
After a consultation with the owner and realtor, around 80% of the homeowner’s possessions were discarded or stored. Only select pieces of furniture and lighting were placed back in the house. The kitchen and bathroom had partial re-dos, along with new lighting and fixtures. The heavily worn wooden floors were stained a beautiful rich brown. Colors were selected to enhance the homes charm. All paints were by Benjamin Moore. The exterior was painted a warm Palm Dessert Tan, with an accent of color on the front door to match the masonry work on the fire place, in a Warm Sienna, soft blues, Blue Ice, and warm Salisbury Green in the bathroom, kitchen is Buttermilk. We painted the trim and fireplace a creamy white to enhance the crown molding and doors.
